ISLAMABAD: The deadline for implementation of the NADRA-integrated digital vaccination card has reportedly been extended to September 25, 2026, providing relief to thousands of passengers and Umrah pilgrims travelling from Pakistan.
An official notification confirming the extension is expected to be issued shortly. The development comes as large numbers of passengers and Umrah pilgrims are visiting airport health offices to obtain the NADRA-integrated vaccination certificate.
Under the earlier directive, NADRA-integrated digital vaccination proof was to become mandatory for international travellers, particularly Umrah pilgrims, from September 14. The requirement covers vaccinations including polio, meningitis, yellow fever and influenza, with other vaccination cards not being accepted for travel.
The reported extension to September 25 is expected to ease pressure at airport health offices and facilitate thousands of Umrah pilgrims who are preparing to travel from Pakistan.
