DALIAN, CHINA: Pakistan Navy’s Lieutenant Shahzada Asad has completed the IRONMAN 70.3 Dali endurance challenge in China, covering a total distance of 113 kilometres.
Shahzada completed the half-Ironman in 6 hours, 30 minutes and 41 seconds, finishing 494th among 780 competitors.
He completed the 1.9-kilometre swim in 40 minutes and 57 seconds, followed by the 90-kilometre cycling segment in 2 hours, 59 minutes and 8 seconds. He then finished the 21.1-kilometre run in 2 hours, 30 minutes and 16 seconds.
The Pakistan Navy officer is also a member of Lahore’s Falcon Triathlon Club. His achievement marks another milestone in Pakistan’s representation at international endurance sporting events.
