Karachi: Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf visited Pakistan Navy units at sea and in the Creeks Area on September 20, where he reviewed the ongoing Exercise SEASPARK-2026 and assessed operational preparedness.
According to the Pakistan Navy and ISPR, the biennial exercise has been underway since September 1 and is designed to rehearse the full spectrum of maritime operations, including the ability to rapidly transition from peacetime to wartime operations.
The Naval Chief interacted with participating officers and personnel and commended their professionalism, high morale, operational readiness and resolve. The exercise also incorporates Multi-Domain Operations, Operations in the Information Environment and extensive use of unmanned systems, reflecting evolving maritime security requirements.
Admiral Naveed Ashraf has emphasized the Pakistan Navy’s continued focus on safeguarding the country’s maritime frontiers and maintaining readiness to respond to emerging security challenges.
