KARACHI: Sindh Local Government Minister Nasir Hussain Shah inaugurated the Lifestyle Furniture Expo, featuring more than 100 furniture stalls showcasing locally produced furniture and craftsmanship.
Speaking at the inauguration, Nasir Hussain Shah said Pakistan had no shortage of skilled and talented people, adding that such exhibitions provide an opportunity for local talent to emerge and gain recognition.
He said he had travelled across the country but had never seen furniture as modern as the products displayed at the expo. According to the minister, Pakistan’s craftsmanship can compete with that of any other country.
Nasir Hussain Shah stressed the need to promote local brands to help develop Pakistan’s market internationally. He said people associated with all sectors would have to play their role in strengthening the national economy.
The minister also visited all the stalls at the expo and reviewed the furniture and products on display.
