Iran’s Interior Minister to Visit Pakistan Next Week for High-Level Bilateral Talks

ISLAMABAD: Iran’s Interior Minister, Dr. Eskandar Momeni, is set to visit Pakistan next week for high-level meetings aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation and addressing key regional issues, diplomatic sources said.

During the visit, Dr. Momeni will hold talks with Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi. The discussions will focus on expanding bilateral trade, enhancing security cooperation, and reviewing matters of mutual interest.

According to diplomatic sources, both sides are also expected to exchange views on the regional situation following the recent peace agreement and explore ways to deepen cooperation between the interior ministries of Pakistan and Iran.

The agenda includes discussions on border management, counterterrorism cooperation, cybersecurity, immigration, and regional stability, reflecting the two neighboring countries’ commitment to closer coordination on security and diplomatic affairs.

The visit is expected to further strengthen Pakistan-Iran relations and promote collaboration in addressing shared regional challenges.
