Karachi Water Supply Improves as Restoration Work Continues at Baloch Park Pumping Station

In Karachi, efforts to improve civic facilities are gaining momentum as the Water Corporation continues effective implementation on the directives of Mayor Murtaza Wahab.

Under the supervision of CEO Ahmed Ali Siddiqui and COO Asadullah Khan, key steps are being taken to enhance water supply across the city.

Restoration work at the Baloch Park Water Pumping Station is progressing rapidly. Officials say the project will benefit three union committees, serving a population of around 60,000 to 70,000 people.

The pumping station is being upgraded on modern lines, including the repair of damaged machinery and the rehabilitation of the deteriorated building. Once completed, the facility will become fully operational.

Authorities say the project marks significant progress in addressing water shortages in Saddar Town, while residents have welcomed the initiative as a positive step toward urban development.
