Karachi: A protest over the alleged failure to arrest those responsible for the killing of young Rosham in Manghopir has entered its fifth consecutive day, while his body remains unburied.
According to protesters, Rosham was the only brother of eight sisters. They are demanding the immediate arrest of the individuals allegedly involved in his killing and have called for a peaceful protest outside Manghopir Police Station.
Protesters allege that Rosham was shot by robbers during an attempted resistance. They have also raised allegations regarding the presence of individuals wearing police uniforms at the scene and are calling for a transparent investigation into the incident.
SSP West Tariq Mastoi held talks with the protesters two days ago in an effort to address their concerns. However, protesters say their demands have yet to be fulfilled and that they will continue their peaceful protest until concrete action is taken.
