ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Navy has promoted Commodore Tasawar Iqbal, Commodore Muhammad Umair, Commodore Shahid Wasif, and Commodore Rao Ahmed Imran Anwar to the rank of Rear Admiral.
According to the Pakistan Navy, all four officers belong to the Operations Branch and have served in a wide range of important command and staff appointments throughout their distinguished naval careers.
Following their promotions, the newly elevated Rear Admirals are serving in key positions, including Commander West, Commandant Pakistan Naval Academy, Commander 25th Destroyer Squadron, and Naval Secretary, respectively.
The Pakistan Navy said the promotions recognize the officers’ professionalism, leadership, and dedicated service to the nation. The appointments are expected to further strengthen the Navy’s command structure and enhance its operational capabilities.
The promotion of these senior officers marks another significant step in reinforcing Pakistan Navy’s commitment to maintaining maritime security and professional excellence.
