Lahore, Pakistan: More than 7,150 women were granted Khula (court-approved divorce) decrees by family courts in Lahore during the first six months of 2026, according to judicial statistics.

According to the data released by judicial sources, the number of Khula decrees has increased considerably compared with previous periods, highlighting a growing trend in family disputes and marital breakdowns.
