ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Pearl-Continental (PC) Hotels network could see a major restructuring following a proposed settlement between key stakeholders involved in a prolonged ownership dispute.
According to the Nukta Digital, a confidential Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has reportedly been signed under which five major PC Hotels could potentially be divided between Thatta Cement and Fauji Foundation.
Under the proposed arrangement, PC Karachi and PC Rawalpindi could go to Thatta Cement, while PC Lahore, PC Bhurban and PC Muzaffarabad could come under Fauji Foundation.
The reported development follows a lengthy legal battle over control of Pakistan Services Limited. However, the agreement has not yet been officially announced, and the proposed asset transfers remain subject to finalization.
If finalized, the arrangement could significantly reshape the ownership and management structure of one of Pakistan’s leading hospitality networks.
