Karachi: Police have arrested two suspects in connection with the killing of 15-year-old Hafiz-e-Quran Rosham Hussain in Manghopir, paving the way for his burial after a 19-day delay.
Rosham Hussain was shot dead during the night between September 7 and 8. According to police officials, two suspects were arrested in connection with the case. The victim’s family said Rosham’s mother identified the arrested suspects.
His funeral prayer was offered at the Eidgah Ground in Ramzan Goth, where arrangements had been completed for the gathering. Following the funeral prayer, Rosham Hussain was laid to rest at a local cemetery.
Rosham’s father, Roidad, said the family was relieved following the arrests and expressed hope that the case would proceed toward justice.
