Rawalpindi: Major General Adil Iftikhar Waraich has been appointed as the new Director General Military Intelligence (DG MI) as part of a broader reshuffle involving senior Pakistan Army appointments, according to reports published on September 20, 2026.
Major General Waraich was previously serving as General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 7th Infantry Division, based in the Miranshah area of North Waziristan.
