akistan’s Chief of Defence Staff (CDF), Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, has reaffirmed that the friendship between Pakistan and China remains strong and unwavering despite changing global and regional dynamics. He emphasized that the relationship between the two countries is built on mutual trust, strategic cooperation, and shared interests.
Speaking during an official engagement, Field Marshal Munir described the Pakistan-China partnership as a cornerstone of regional peace, stability, and economic development. He noted that both countries continue to support each other on key regional and international matters while working closely in defence, security, trade, and infrastructure development.
The CDF highlighted that the long-standing bilateral relationship has successfully adapted to evolving global challenges and continues to grow stronger through regular high-level exchanges and collaboration. He also appreciated China’s continued support for Pakistan’s development initiatives and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening strategic ties.
Pakistan and China have maintained close diplomatic, economic, and defence cooperation for decades, with projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) remaining a key pillar of the partnership. Officials from both sides have repeatedly described the relationship as an “all-weather strategic cooperative partnership.”
