Karachi: The Sindh High Court has granted bail to former BRT Yellow Line Project Director Zameer Abbasi in a case involving alleged financial irregularities and corruption amounting to Rs8.5 billion.
The case relates to alleged financial embezzlement in the BRT Yellow Line project. During the proceedings, the court approved Abbasi’s bail and directed that the allegations be subject to further investigation.
The court also ordered that Abbasi’s name be placed on the Exit Control List (ECL) and directed him to submit surety bonds worth Rs100 million.
The case concerns alleged financial irregularities in the Yellow Line project, while the allegations remain subject to the ongoing legal process.
