Canada FM Anita Anand Meets Army Chief Asim Munir at GHQ, Discusses Regional Security and Bilateral Ties

Rawalpindi: Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs Her Excellency Anita Anand called on Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on Sunday.

During the meeting, both sides discussed matters of mutual interest, regional security, and the growing bilateral relationship between Pakistan and Canada. The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation and enhancing engagement in areas of shared interest.

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir highlighted Pakistan’s perspective on global peace, regional stability, and constructive international cooperation. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to promoting peace and maintaining stability in the region while emphasizing the importance of dialogue and collaboration to address shared challenges.
