Security forces have reportedly killed more than nine militants during separate intelligence-based operations in different areas of Balochistan, according to state media.
Security sources said an operation was conducted in a mountainous area between Ziarat and Harnai, where a suspected hideout was located. Eight militants were reportedly killed during the operation.
In a separate operation in the Hajika area of Sorab district, another militant was reportedly killed.
According to security sources, weapons, ammunition, grenades, communication equipment and motorcycles were recovered during the operations.
The latest operations are part of ongoing security efforts across Balochistan. Authorities say intelligence-based operations are being conducted to target militant networks and prevent further security threats.
The situation remains under close watch as security forces continue operations in different parts of the province.
