A man was allegedly attacked and had his nose severed over suspicions of having a friendship with a woman in Khanpur, police said.
According to initial reports, the victim was confronted by a group of suspects who accused him of maintaining an inappropriate relationship with a local woman. The dispute reportedly escalated into violence, during which the attackers allegedly used a sharp weapon to cut off the man’s nose before fleeing the scene.
The injured man was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he received emergency medical treatment. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation to identify and arrest those responsible.
