KARACHI, September 17, 2026: A protest sit-in by the family and relatives of young Rosham Hussain, who was allegedly killed during a robbery resistance in Karachi’s Manghopir area, continued for the 10th consecutive day.
The family has refused to proceed with Hussain’s burial until the suspects involved in his killing are arrested. The deceased’s father and other protesters remain firm on their demand for immediate action against those responsible.
According to the family, the continued protest is aimed at pressing authorities to arrest the suspects and ensure that the case proceeds in accordance with the law.
Several political parties have also decided not to participate in the protest sit-in until the burial takes place, according to the information provided by the protesters.
Meanwhile, police have so far been unable to arrest the suspects allegedly involved in the killing. Police officials say multiple teams are carrying out operations to trace and arrest those responsible.
The case remains under investigation, while the victim’s family continues to demand the arrest of the alleged perpetrators before proceeding with the burial.
