Faisalabad’s Hira Qaiser has been crowned the winner of Pakistan Idol 2026, emerging victorious at the grand finale held on Sunday night.
Hira, who comes from a middle-class family in Faisalabad, impressed audiences and judges throughout the competition with her vocal performances and stage presence. She ultimately secured the coveted Pakistan Idol title after making it through the final stages of the competition.
As the winner, Hira received the Pakistan Idol shield and a cash prize of Rs1.5 million. The other finalists were also awarded shields and cash prizes of Rs500,000 each.
Following her victory, Hira said that her family’s prayers played an important role in her success. She expressed happiness over winning the title and said she hoped to fulfil her dreams following the achievement.
The Super Finale featured performances by some of Pakistan’s leading musical artists, including Atif Aslam, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Bilal Maqsood and Zeb Bangash. Atif Aslam appeared as the special Super Icon of the finale.
The finale was also screened at cinemas in Karachi and Faisalabad, allowing fans to watch the crowning moment on the big screen.
Pakistan Idol producer Badr Ikram announced during the finale that the show would return for a third season, promising another platform for emerging Pakistani singers.
Hira Qaiser’s victory marks a significant achievement for Faisalabad and adds her name to the growing list of Pakistani singers who have gained national recognition through televised music competitions.
