The Pakistan Navy has successfully demonstrated its precision strike capability by conducting a live firing of an indigenously developed ship-launched anti-ship ballistic missile.
According to officials, the missile accurately engaged its target at extended range with high speed, showcasing advanced operational readiness and technological capability.
Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, along with senior scientists and engineers, witnessed the launch.
The missile is equipped with a modern guidance system and enhanced maneuverability, enabling it to evade threats, adapt to dynamic combat conditions, and strike targets with precision.
Officials stated that the successful test highlights the country’s growing indigenous defense capabilities and reinforces the Pakistan Navy’s commitment to maintaining credible sea-based deterrence, as well as ensuring maritime security and regional stability.
The President, Prime Minister, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, and Services Chiefs congratulated the scientists and participating units on achieving this significant milestone.
