Karachi: CEO Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KW&SC) Ahmed Ali Siddiqui launched a landmark initiative by organizing a dedicated Gender Cell workshop to promote gender equality and ensure a safe, respectful, and harassment-free workplace for women employees. The session provided awareness on workplace rights, harassment prevention laws, and complaint mechanisms, while reaffirming the corporation’s commitment to protecting women’s dignity and ensuring equal professional opportunities.
Ahmed Ali Siddiqui termed the workshop a first-of-its-kind in KW&SC’s history and emphasized that empowering women and ensuring their safety remains a top priority, with continued steps planned to strengthen inclusion and workplace protection.
