ISLAMABAD: Pakistani security forces thwarted a suspected suicide attack in Wana, South Waziristan, after destroying an explosive-laden vehicle and killing a terrorist, state media reported on Friday.

According to the report, security personnel intercepted the vehicle before it could reach its intended target. During the operation, the forces successfully destroyed the explosives-packed vehicle, preventing what officials described as a potential suicide attack.

One terrorist was killed during the operation, while no casualties among security personnel or civilians were immediately reported.
