KARACHI: Police produced an arrested suspect before the Judicial Magistrate Malir in connection with a case involving alleged threats sent to a University of Karachi professor through mobile phone and WhatsApp.
According to police, the case was registered at Sachal Police Station on the complaint of the professor. The suspect is expected to be presented before the court for physical remand as part of the ongoing investigation.
Police further stated that the suspect had previously obtained bail in a separate case involving alleged assault on the professor and his nephew.
Authorities are continuing their investigation into the alleged threats and related matters.
