ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Türkiye marked Pakistan’s Defence Day with a joint celebration, highlighting the longstanding friendship and growing strategic partnership between the two countries.
The event paid tribute to the sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces and martyrs while reflecting the close defence and security cooperation between Islamabad and Ankara. Representatives and officials from both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation in defence, military training, technology and other strategic sectors.
Pakistan and Türkiye have maintained strong bilateral relations for decades, supported by close diplomatic engagement, expanding defence cooperation and deep people-to-people ties. The joint Defence Day celebration served as another symbol of the friendship between the two nations.
The occasion also highlighted the shared commitment of Pakistan and Türkiye to regional peace, stability and continued cooperation on matters of mutual interest.
