ISLAMABAD: Major Ehsan Elahi of the Pakistan Army embraced shahadat during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in North Waziristan, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The operation was launched after security forces received intelligence regarding the presence of militants in the area. During the exchange, Major Ehsan Elahi led his troops from the front with exceptional courage and professionalism.
ISPR stated that the officer made the ultimate sacrifice while performing his duty to protect the country. Security forces successfully carried out the operation and continued clearance activities to eliminate any remaining threats in the area.
Pakistan’s military paid tribute to Major Ehsan Elahi’s bravery, dedication, and commitment to national security, stating that his sacrifice reflects the unwavering resolve of the armed forces in safeguarding the nation.
North Waziristan has witnessed several intelligence-based operations in recent years as security forces continue efforts to maintain peace and stability in the region.
