KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan climbed sharply on Tuesday, with the price of 24-karat gold increasing by Rs4,000 per tola to reach Rs431,736, according to the latest market rates.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also rose by Rs3,430, taking it to Rs370,144.
In the international bullion market, gold gained $40 per ounce, reaching $4,093 per ounce, a rise that contributed to higher domestic prices.
Meanwhile, silver prices also moved upward, with the price of one tola of silver increasing by Rs100 to Rs6,397.
Market analysts say fluctuations in international gold prices and currency exchange rates continue to influence precious metal prices in Pakistan.
