Inter-Services Public Relations says 13 India-backed militants killed in failed border infiltration attempts

Pakistan’s security forces foiled two infiltration attempts along the Pak-Afghan border, killing 13 militants in separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on April 28 and 29, according to ISPR.

In the Mohmand District, troops intercepted a group of militants attempting to cross into Pakistan. After a precise engagement, eight attackers linked to Fitna al-Khawarij were killed.

In a separate operation in North Waziristan, security forces thwarted another infiltration bid, eliminating five more militants following an intense exchange of fire.

The military said the incidents highlight ongoing concerns over cross-border movement and urged Afghan authorities to ensure their territory is not used for attacks inside Pakistan.

Security forces have since launched clearance operations in the area, reaffirming their commitment under the “Azm-e-Istehkam” strategy to eliminate militancy and secure the country’s borders.
