Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Uncovers Alleged Fake Passport Network in Karachi, Officer Detained

According to the Newspost sources, FIA’s Counter Terrorism Wing carried out a raid at the Awami Markaz Passport Office in Karachi following intelligence-based information.

Sources claimed authorities uncovered an alleged network involved in processing Pakistani passports using suspected fake documentation.

During the operation, Assistant Director Farooq Sial was reportedly taken into custody while officials also reviewed office records.

According to initial findings cited by sources, documents linked to more than 70 suspected foreign individuals were recovered and are being examined.

Sources further claimed the individuals are suspected to be linked to Afghanistan, while FIA has launched further investigation to verify identities and determine legal responsibility.
